Special Note: Over a period of time, violin

position and lean forward toward the fingerboard.

If allowed to remain tilted in this manner, a bridge

will eventually warp and may become weakened

to the point of breaking. Periodic inspection and

readjustment of the bridge to its proper vertical

position will prevent the development of such
