Wiring voltage drop should not exceed 5% [0.05] x 12 Volts = 0.6 Volts.
Voltage Drop = Current [Amps] x Length of Wire [Feet] x Resistance per Foot [Ohms]
Example:
Current draw of 100 Amps x 3 feet of 4 AWG wire
100 Amps x 3 Feet x 0.000270 = 0.08 Volts [Voltage Drop]
