(17) START button (no display indication): Start of
the Schaltwerk from the respective Track begin, and
sending of the MIDI real-time “start” message.

(18) STOP button (no display indication): Stop of the
Schaltwerk, sending of the MIDI real-time “stop”
message.

At the first activation of this button, the Stop LED is
flashing. This is to inform the user that the button can
be pressed a second time.

At the second consecutive activation of the button, the
LED stops flashing and becomes permanently ON.
Simultaneously this command will clear the internal
buffer of the Schaltwerk (i.e. the chord trigger buffer
& arpeggio buffer) and issue an all-notes-off message,
for all 16 MIDI channels, at MIDI out 1.

(19) Cont. (continue) button (no display indication).
Start of the Schaltwerk from the current position.
Transmission of the “continue” MIDI real-time
message.

(20) Tempo button. Setting of the Schaltwerk internal
tempo (50~240 BpM - Beats per Minute) (This
parameter is stored with the Pattern)

By pressing the tempo button more than once it is
possible to activate/deactivate the Master-Tempo
function (LED on/off). When active, the LED is on.
When inactive (normal mode), the LED is off.
