Connecting the SJ Series

When using the power-supply, 10-pin I/O cable (SJ-C

∗U) to connect to a

power supply device, ground the shielded wire (the thick, black wire).

Failure to do so may lead to damage to the power supply and to the static

eliminator. In addition, you may not be able to perform correct static

elimination.

[1] When the power supply device

is not grounded, ground the

shielded wire.

[2] When the shielded wire of the

I/O cable is wired to the earth

terminal of the power supply

device, ground the system

correctly from the earth

terminal.

<CAUTION>
Each time that you perform wiring, do so correctly by following the

instructions in the static eliminator's user's manual.

• Before you start the power supply, you have to disconnect only the

pink wire (the static elimination stoppage input signal wire) from the

bundled cable that contains this wire and the two blue wires (the blue

wire and the blue/white wire). When the product is shipped from the

factory, it is put into a state in which static elimination is stopped to

ensure safety.

• Be sure to wire the brown wire together with the brown/white wire and

the blue wire together with the blue/white wire.
