I sing the dry ing rack

The drying rack lets you dry items

that you may not want to tumble; for

example, sneakers, stuffed toys
knitted wool, etc

The rack does not move, but the

drum turns Make sure nothing hangs
over the edges of the rack.

Drying time will depend on how

much moisture the items hold. The
following chart suggests tempera­

ture settings for different kinds of

items that might best be rack dried.

(Block to shape;
lay flat on rack).

GENTLE LOW

Stuffed toys or pillows
(Cotton or polyester
fiber filled.)

Stuffed toys or pillows
(Foam rubber filled.)

Sneakers or
canvas shoes

FLUFF AIR

WARNING: Drying plastic or rubber

items with heat may damage

the items or be a FIRE HAZARD.

Be sure to take the rack out for
normal tumble drying.

Changing the drum light

1.

Unplug the dryer to avoid

possible electrical shock.

2.

Open the

Remove the

light bulb by
turning it

counter­
clockwise.

4.

Replace the bulb only with a 40

watt appliance bulb from most
hardware, grocery or variety
stores,

5.

Replace the light bulb cover

and lock it in place by turning
counterclockwise.

CAUTION: The bulb cover
must be securely in place
during dryer operation

to prevent overheating

and possibie damage to
fabrics. Operating the
dryer with the buib cover
removed can cause the
dryer to faii or create
a FIRE HAZARD.

End-of-cycle signal

The dryer will beep 5 times to let

you know when the cycle is finished.
It will also beep after each FINISH
GUARD tumbling.

The signal is helpful when you are

drying permanent press, synthetics
and other items that should be taken
out as soon as the dryer stops.

The signal can’t be turned off and

it is not adjustable.
