TO CLEAN AGITATOR
NOTE:
in order to keep cleaning efficiency
high and to prevent damage to your vacu
um, the agitator must be cieaned every time
the belt is changed.
The agitator must be cleaned according to
the following schedule:
Vacuum Use
HEAVY
(used daily)
MODERATE
(used 2-3 times/week)
LIGHT
(used 1 time/week)
Clean Agitator
every week
every month
every 2 months
Remove ant dirt or derbris in the belt path
area or in the agitator area.
Exploded View - Agitator
Assembly
Carefully remove the brush end caps and
remove any string or debris located on the
agitator assembly, end caps, washers or
agitator shaft.
End

NOTE:
Replace
the end caps. See
the exploded view
for correct assem
bly.
TO REPLACE BELT
Make sure that the carpet/bare floor selec
tor is in the
carpet
position.
Loop the new belt on the
motor shaft.
