MELT
The oven uses low power to melt foods (butter,
chocolate, marshmallows and cheese). See the
following table.
SOFTEN
The oven uses low power to soften foods (butter, ice
cream, cream cheese, and frozen juice)
See the following table.
Example To Melt 8 oz. Chocolate.

MELT TABLE SOFTEN TABLE

Unwrap and place in
miorowavabie container. No
need fo cover butter. Stir at the
end of cooking to complete
melting.

Chocolate chips or morsels of
baking chocolate may be used.
Unwrap morsels and place in
miorowavabie container larger
than 2 cup measuring cup. Stir
at the end of cycle to complete
melting. Best results are obtain­
ed with a 2 cup measuring cont
ainer.
4 or 8 oz.
Cheese
Use processed cheese food
only. Cut into cubes. Place in
miorowavabie container. Stir at
the end of cooking to complete
melting.
8 or 16 oz.
Marshmallows
Large or miniature
marshmallows may be used.
Place In miorowavabie
container. Stir at the end of
cycle to complete melting.
