To scan quickly through tracks on a

disc (HI-LITE scan)

This function plays a 10 second portion located 1 minute from the

start of each track on all the discs in the current play mode.

track of each CD, starting from

The "DISC" and "SCAN" indicators blink.

if the piayer is in ALL RE PEA T mode, the Hi-LiTE scan wiii repeat.

if the track is iess than 1 minute iong, about 10 seconds from the

beginning wiii be piayed. if the track is iess then 10 seconds iong,

the entire track wiii be piayed.

When REPEA Tis pressed, Hi-LiTE scan piayback wiii be repeated.

During program mode, the TOTAL dispiay shows the program

step and totai eiapsed time of the program.^

Time remaining on the disc is not dispiayed during RANDOM or

PROGRAM piay.

Time remaining on the track may not be dispiayed for tracks

numbered greater than 24.
