Installation
Rechargeable Batteries
The use lOGXLT comes with a rechargeaole iMiCad battery pack. When fuliv
charged thjs power supply wifi provide up cc 5 hours of decendaple use. To instail
the battery poC.k, simply slide it on co the bottom of the scanner.
'When the batteries become low, simply plug the .AC Acaptor/Charcer into the
j3cl< on the .rear of the Oatter;/ pack and Charge ove.miqhL It is irnpertant co
pericdically allow the batteries to discharge completely co ma/ntam full operating
capaPil/ry. See the 3artery .yiaintenance section of this guide.
WARNING. Turn the ON/CFF, 'volume switch
detaching the battery pack.

Flexibie Antenna InstalJation
The uec ' OOXLT induces a .'le.xicie antenna for rand neid use Put the antenna
onto the -3NC connector on the :cp of cne scanner and turn che antertna
connector dcckwise 1/4 cum to lock icon. Under.norma i conditions this antenna
Should orcvide excellent reception. However, factors suen as location within your
nome, and orcximmy to electrical apciiances may determine reception aualir/ For
/veak signal reception or electrically noisy locations, an external antenna may be
nelDful. A macingpiug [optional] may ce recuired to connect an e.xternal antenna.
AC Adiîptor

which converts standard household current to 13.3'v' CC Plug the small
connector of the AC Adaptor into the jack m che back of the radio marked CC
'3.SV. P'ug Che ocher end into any standard 22C '-y AC household outlet.
