Far end audio performance – Dodge 2013 Charger SRT8 User Manual
Page 176

Far End Audio Performance
• Audio quality is maximized under:
• low-to-medium blower setting,
• low-to-medium vehicle speed,
• low road noise,
• smooth road surface,
• fully closed windows,
• dry weather conditions, and
• operation from the driver’s seat.
• Performance, such as audio clarity, echo, and loudness
to a large degree rely on the phone and network, and
not the Uconnect
Phone.
• Echo at the far end can sometimes be reduced by
lowering the in-vehicle audio volume.
• In a convertible vehicle, system performance may be
compromised with the convertible top down.
SMS
Uconnect
Phone can read or send new messages on
your phone.
Your phone must support SMS over Bluetooth
in order
to use this feature. If the Uconnect
Phone determines
your phone is not compatible with SMS messaging over
Bluetooth
the “Messaging” button will be greyed out
and the feature will not be available for use.
NOTE:
Uconnect
Phone SMS is only available when
the vehicle is not in moving.
