Enter a destination using the numeric keys on your telephone or using a one-touch speed dialing key,
coded speed dialing code, [Redial/Pause], or the numeric keys on the machine.

When the recorded message of the information service answers, press [

] to switch to tone dialing.

When [

] is pressed, <T> is displayed in the LCD.

If your telephone line uses tone dialing, go to the next step.

Use the numeric keys on the machine to enter the numbers requested by the information service.

Numbers entered after pressing [

] will be dialed using tone dialing.

If you want to receive faxes, press [Start].

Hang up the handset to disconnect the call.

Tone dialing is canceled when you disconnect the call.

NOTE

If the offhook alarm starts beeping, make sure that the handset is resting properly on the handset cradle. The
offhook alarm can be turned off. (See <4. OFFHOOK ALARM> o
f "Menu Descriptions," on p. 8-2.)
