Installation
Your new mixer is supplied partially assembled. For
more information, see the parts list pages for general
arrangement drawings.
Impellers:
To install the impeller, back off the set screw as far as
possible without removing them. Insert mixing shaft
into the bore and tighten the set screw firmly to secure
the impeller to the shaft.
Impeller Placement:
Begin by mounting it I to 2 impeller diameters distance
off the bottom of mixing container.
The above guideline is a “rule of thumb” and may not
be the best for your situation. Experimenting with
impeller placement may provide your best results.
Assembly:
1.) Assemble turbine blades to mixing shaft.
2.) Remove the 22” lid(cover) from tank &
unscrew 3” fusible connection.
3.) Insert the shaft with blades through the 3”
opening from the bottom.
4.) Insert mixing shaft into the motor coupling and
tighten the set screws(2) firmly to secure the
shaft assembly to the motor.
5.) Start the 3” coupling onto the 3” threaded pipe
on the lid(cover).
6.) Assemble turn lid(cover) upright & place back
on tank. Continue to tighten the plate by
turning CW until firmly attached.
7.) Run the (4) leveling screws down to the
lid(cover) for added support.
8.) Make sure air control valve is closed.
Mixer is now ready to operate.
