2.2 Mounting Installation
This section describes how to install the Industrial Gigabit Ethernet Switch and make connections to it. Please read the
following topics and perform the procedures in the order being presented.
In the installation steps below, this Manual uses MC350-4T-1S (IFS 8 Port Industrial Gigabit
Switch) as the example. However, the steps for IFS Industrial Switch & Industrial Media
Converter are similar.
2.2.1 Install DIN-Rail Mounting
The DIN-Rail is screwed on the Industrial Gigabit Ethernet Switch when out of factory. When replacing the wall mount
application with DIN-Rail application on Industrial Gigabit Ethernet Switch is needed, please refer to the following figures to
screw the DIN-Rail on the Industrial Gigabit Ethernet Switch. To hang the Industrial Gigabit Ethernet Switch, follow the
following steps:
Step 1: Screw the DIN-Rail on the Industrial Gigabit Ethernet Switch.
Step 2: Lightly insert the DIN-Rail into the track.
