SUPPLY RADIO RECEPTION
Batteries
• Open the battery compartment and insert as indicated three
batteries, type R6. UM3 or AA-cells.
• Remove the batteries if exhausted or if they will not be used
again for a long period
The battery supply is switched off when the set is connected
to the mains
Mafns adapter
• Connect a mams adapter to the 4.5 V DC socket ®. The
adapter must supply 4.5 V DC.
• To disconnect the set from the mams completely, withdraw
the mams plug from the wall socket
The fype plate is on the base of the set.
This product complies with the radio interference requirements
of the European Community.
• Switch on the radio and set the volume v/ilh the ON/OFF-
VOLUME control ©.
•
You may connect an earphone with 3.5 mm plug to
socket 0 ©. The loudspeaker is then muted.
• Select the wave range using BANDS selector ® (+ ©for
Short Wave).
• Tune to a radio station using TUNING knob ©. The tuning
indicator © will light up at correct tuning.
- For FM, pull out the telescopic aerial ©. To improve
FM-reception, incline and turn the aenal.
- For AM/MW and LW (Medium and Long Wave), the set is
provided with a built-in aerial which can be directed by
turning the whole set.
- For Shortwave (SW). the telescopic aerial must be pulled out
and placed in the vertical position.

Piles
• Ouvrir le compartiment à piles et introduire trois piles, type
R6, UM3 ou AA, selon le croquis.
• Enlever les piles dès qu'elles sont usées ou si elles ne
serviront pas pendant une longue période.
L'alimentation par piles est coupée quand l'appareil est
branché sur le secteur.
Adaptateur secteur
• Brancher la fiche d’un adaptateur secteur sur la prise
4.5 V DG © L’adaptateur doit fournir 4.5 V DG.
• Pour séparer complètement l’appareil du secteur, il faut
retirer la fiche de la prise murale.
La plaque signaléhque se trouve sous l'appareil.
Cet appareil est conforme aux prescriptions de la Com­
munauté Européenne relatives à la limitation des perturbations
radioélectriques
• Mettez la radio en circuit et réglez le volume à l’aide de la
commande ON/OFF-VOLUME ©.
• Sur la prise Cl © on peut brancher un écouteur avec fiche
3,5 mm. Le haut-parleur est alors débranché.
• Choisir la gamme d’ondes à l’aide du sélecteur BANDS ©
[ + © pour ondes courtes).
• Rechercher l’émetteur avec le bouton TUNING @. L'in­
dicateur © s’allume lorsque l’appareil est réglé correctement.
- Pour la FM, sortir l’antenne télescopique ®, puis l’incliner et
l’orienter convenablement.
- Pour les petites ondes (PO-AM/MW) et les grandes ondes
(GO-LW), l’appareil est équipé d’une antenne incorporé.
Orienter l’ensemble de l’appareil.
- Pour les ondes courtes (OC ou SW), sortir l’antenne
télescopique et la placer en position verticale.

Batterljen
• Open het battenjvak en zet zoals aangegeven drie batterijen
in, type R6. UM3 of AA
• Veavijder de batterijen als zij leeg zijn of lange tijd niet
gebruikt zullen worden
De batterijen wordt uitgeschakeld zodra het apparaat op het
lichtnet wordt aangesloten.
Netvoedlngs-adapter
• Steek de steker van een netvoedings-adapter in bus
4,5 V DG © De adapter moet 4,5 V gelijkstroom leveren.
• Trek de netsteker uit het stopcontact als u de netvoeding
helemaal wilt uitschakelen.
Het fypeplaat/e zit onderop het apparaat.
Dit apparaat voldoet aan de radiostoringseisen van de
Europese Gemeenschap.
• Zet de radio aan en stel de geluidssterkte in met de
ON/OFF-VOLUME knop ©.
• U kunt een oortelefoon met 3,5 mm steker aansluiten op D
©. Hierdoor wordt de luidspreker uitgeschakeld
• Kies het golfgebied met de BANDS-schakelaar ® (-k ©
voor kortegolf).
• Stern af op de zender met TUNING knop ©. Als goed is
afgestemd op een zender dan gaat de indioator © branden.
- Voor FM trekst u de telescoop-anfenne @ helemaal uit. Ter
verbetering van de ontvangst kunt u de antenne neerklappen
en verdraaien.
- Voor middengolf (AM/MW) en langegolf (LW) beschikt het
apparaat over een ingebouwde antenne. U kunt de antenne
richten door het hele apparaat te draaien.
- Voor kortegolf (SW) trekt u de telescoop-anlenne uit en zet
hem verticaal.
