The Basics

The Lock screen wallpaper

You can set the Lock screen wallpaper separately from your Home screen
wallpaper.

1. From the Home screen, touch and hold the Recent Apps Key

(in the

Touch Keys bar) > Lock screen settings

2. Tap Wallpaper.

 Tap Gallery to select an image from your Gallery.

 Tap Wallpaper gallery to select one of the available wallpaper images.

Additional Lock screen settings

All of the Security locks include the following settings: Select screen lock,
Screen swipe effect, Wallpaper, Widgets, Missed calls & new messages,
Shortcuts, Contact info for lost phone, Security lock timer, and Power
button instantly locks.

There are additional Lock screen settings depending on which Security lock
you set. The following are the variable settings for each lock screen:

 Swipe also includes Screen swipe effect.

 Face Unlock also includes Improve face matching and Liveness check,

and may also include settings from Pattern, PIN, and Password,
depending on your backup unlock sequence.

 Knock Code has no additional settings.
 Pattern also includes Pattern effect and Hidden pattern.
 PIN also includes Hidden PIN and Random PIN entry.
 Password also includes Hidden password.

System recovery

If you forget your unlock sequence and backup PIN, you’ll have to perform
a hard reset to gain access to your phone.

WARNING

Performing a hard reset deletes all of your user data, which includes pictures, videos,

and music saved to your internal memory. Please make sure to back up your information

prior to performing a hard reset.
