End of Life Statement
When the product has reached the end of its useful life, it is vital that the battery is removed
from the main body of the EPIRB to prevent false alerts. False alerts cause expensive
disruption to Search and Rescue services and may endanger lives as a consequence.
Safe disposal
Contains traces of lithium, may contain traces of lead and brominated
flame retardants (BFRs), both in the housing material and circuit
boards.
