Copy Protection File (Optional)
Copy protection is a feature to hinder unauthorized copying of CDs
recorded by the DIRECTOR. The Copy Protection File field is used to
specify the defect file (DEF file) that was previously created to designate
how and where the required invalid blocks will be written on the disc.
• Click the Browse Defect Files button below the Copy Protection File
field. The screen will now display:
• Select the appropriate file and click the Open button. Leave the field
blank if copy protection will not be used.
Note:
DIRECTOR systems equipped with Pioneer DVD-R drives do not support
MediaFORM SmartDRIVE features.
