MJPEG & MPEG4 Networkable DVRs
Channel Vision’s 4-, 8-, and 16-camera networkable DVRs are feature-rich and provide
powerful, reliable performance for residential or light commercial systems. These digital
video recorders connect with whole-house video and data systems giving homeowners the
ability to monitor their security cameras on a TV or from a remote computer while they are
away. The DVR’s are offered in 2 networkable models, MJPEG (DVR-4JN) and MPEG4 (DVR-
4N, DVR-8N, DVR-16N).
The MPEG4 Networkable DVRs offer many selectable options including real-time
single/multi-screen display, IR control, control of pan/tilt/zoom cameras, PIP display, as well
as manual, schedule and event recording options. With its flexible monitoring options that
include IP-based, central or client software monitoring, the DVRs are perfect for use in light
commercial applications where network administrators can remotely manage and control
the system. Each DVR also includes client viewer software and offers RJ-45, USB and RS-232
or RS-485 connectors.
Optional hard drives are available and sold separately, allowing integrators to select the
drive size that will best suit their needs. Channel Vision offers four different capacities: 80GB,
200GB, 320GB and 500GB hard drives. DVR-4N, 8N & 16N offers the capacity for up to 4 hard
drives.
