This allows user to format the CF card.
CAUTION
As all the images recorded in the CF card are deleted and cannot be recovered, be careful when
formatting the CF card.
1 1 Rotate the function dial to "SETUP" and slide the power
switch to turn on the camera.
• The power switch returns to the initial position.
2 2 Press the button .
• The setup mode menu is displayed on the LCD monitor as shown in the fig-
ure.
3 3 Press the or key so that [FORMAT] is highlighted and
press key.
• The display to confirm whether you format the CF card or not appears.
