Install the BJ Tanks

Twist off the orange

protective cap.

To prevent spills,

do not press

the side of

the BJ tank.

Insert the

yellow BJ

tank into the

right slot of

the cartridge.

Press down

on the top of

the BJ tank

until it locks

into place.

Install the other

3 BJ tanks

as shown.

Magenta (BCI-3eM)

Yellow (BCI-3eY)

Close the ADF cover.

When the

ALARM

light stops flashing,

the printer is ready.

Pick up the yellow BJ tank.

Pull up the

orange tape.

Remove the

plastic wrapper

from the tank.

Black (BCI-3eBK)

Cyan (BCI-3eC)

Pull the paper rest up until it stops.

Move the paper guide to the left

to match the size

of your paper.

Fan a stack of paper. Fan the edge that will feed

into the MultiPASS first; then tap the stack on

a flat surface to even its edges.

Insert the stack of paper.

Do not fill the sheet feeder above

the limit mark ( ). The sheet feeder

holds up to 100 sheets of plain

paper (20 lb or 75 g/m

2

).

Adjust the paper guide snugly against the side

of the stack of paper.

Make sure the print side of the paper is face-up.

Align the right edge of

the stack with the right

side of the sheet feeder.

The sheet feeder is the larger capacity tray

behind the ADF.
