Put It To The Test
Like many new products, your Philips Norelco
Multigroom Grooming Kit may take a little getting
used to. If you are using an electric Groomer for the
first time, or if you’ve been using a different brand,
take the time to acquaint yourself with your new
Grooming Kit.

To Charge/Recharge
I Fully charge Groomer before using for the first
time or after non-use for a long period of time.
I Charging, recharging or using Groomer at
temperatures below 40°F or higher than 95°F
adversely affects lifespan of the battery.
> If the Groomer is subjected to a major change
in temperature, pressure or humidity, let the
Groomer acclimatize for 30 minutes before
using.
D Be certain Groomer is OFF.
□ Connect appliance plug to charging stand
(fig. I). Plug adapter into any 120VAC
outlet (fig. 2). Use only the cord provided.
H Put the Groomer in the charging stand
(fig. 3).You will hear a ‘click’.
Q The Charging Light will blink green to
indicate the Groomer is charging (fig. 4).
► It will take approximately I hour to fully
charge the Groomer for a cordless trimming
time of up to 50 minutes.
B After the Groomer is fully charged, the
Charging Light will light up green continously.
NOTE: After approximately 30 minutets. the
Charging Light goes out to save energy.
Q The Groomer can also be charged by
plugging the appliance plug directly into the
Groomer.
Q Disconnect the cord and unplug from
electrical outlet.
Trimming
I
Use this Groomer for its intended household
use as described in this manual.
I Make sure that the Groomer is fully charged
before you start trimming. This Groomer will
not operate while cord is connected to
electrical outlet.

Make sure hair is clean and dry.
► Always comb the hair with a styling comb in
the direction of growth before you start
trimming.
Do not move the Groomer too fast. Make smooth
and gentle movements.

Charge according to directions. Remove
Groomer from charging stand, unplug from
outlet and remove cord.

Slide ON/OFF switch ON to begin trimming.
B If the charge runs low, the charging light will
light up orange.
□ Connect appliance plug to charging stand or
Groomer. Charging for 10 minutes gives you
10 minutes of trimming time.
