Use a 1.5mm hex wrench to loosen the

setscrew that secured the drive shaft to

the motor adapter.

Slide the drive shaft out of the stuffing

box. It will pass close to the rudder, so

make sure the rudder is straight when

you remove the drive shaft.

Place the end of the PRB0100 Grease Gun

w/Marine Grease (see your local hobby

shop) against the drive shaft. Apply

grease along the length of the shaft.

Slide the shaft back into the stuffing

box. Use a paper towel to remove excess

grease near the propeller that oozes out

when inserting the shaft.

Note: Running the Motor Lifeboat

RTR in salt water could cause

some parts to corrode and is not

recommended. If you run the boat

in salt water, rinse it thoroughly

in fresh water after each use and

lubricate the drive system.
