3. Place a NEW M4x0.7 Button Screw in each of the four corners of the mount.
4. Using the included T-20 Torx, seat them very lightly finger-tight.
5. After all four screws are seated; progressively tighten them in an "X" pattern as shown.
6. Finish up by tightening all four screws firmly hand-tight.
IMPORTANT: Tighten the screws snug but do not over tighten.
7. Attach accessories to camera.
8. Power up camera.
9. For RED EPIC-M / X cameras with firmware v1.6.34 or higher installed and ALL RED SCARLET-X
cameras, go to SECONDARY MENUS > SETTINGS MENU > MAINTENANCE > REDISCOVER and
perform the Rediscover procedure. This will require a reboot of the camera and the mount will be rec-
ognized.
10. The DSMC Canon Mount installation is complete.
