6.2 Unloading the Pistol (Magazine Empty,
Slide Open)
1. Keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
2. depress the magazine catch and remove the magazine.
3. Visually and manually check the chamber to ensure the pistol is completely free
of ammunition.
4. depress the slide catch lever, causing the slide to close.
