SOLBERG

1. Installation

A. Most scrubber vessels are designed in a “S” pipe configuration. In all cases the

bottom most connection of the vessel is the inlet


B. Flow direction is typically from the inside of the element to the outside of the

element


C. Ensure that pipe/flange connections are adequately sealed so the potential for

leaks is minimized


D. Mounting orientation is typically vertical to allow for gravity draining

E. Vessel should be anchored to ground prior to operation



2. Removing Vessel Lid

*WARNING*

Vessel must be relieved of pressure before
opening. Failure to comply with these instructions
could result in explosion or personal injury.

A. Remove fasteners (bolts, nuts and washers)

B. Swing lid to side of vessel using davit arm (if applicable)

3. Removing Element for Service/Maintenance
