6.4.1 Setting audio language

> Pressing the OK button opens the window with available audio languages.

6.4.2 Screen text language

The DVB receiver provides an option of setting up the teletext and DVB text. The text will be display-
ed automatically when the chosen language is broadcast.

If the language has not been chosen or if the selected language is not broadcast, the text can be tur-
ned on manually, which is signalised by the

symbol.

6.4.3 Dolby Digital

Diff erent fi lms are broadcast in the Dolby Digital format, which is signalled by the Dolby symbol in the
information window

as soon as the programme is set up.

When the 5.1-channel Dolby Digital amplifi er is used, soundtracks of certain fi lms can be heard in the
5.1-channel Dolby-Digital mode.

The above requires connecting the digital Audio Out Digital output of the DVB receiver to the digital
input of the 5.1-channel Dolby Digital amplifi er.
When the Dolby Digital function is on, the programmes are played automatically in the Dolby Digital
format. When the function is off , the Dolby Digital sound can be turned on manually.

6.4.4 AV synchronisation

> In this line the user can set up AV synchronisation using the right/left arrow keys to match image

and sound.

6.4.5 HDMI sound format

> In this line the user can set the sound format of the HDMI output to PCM or Bistream (no volume

control) using the right/left arrow keys.

6.5 Special functions

This menu allows the user to set up the font and display time of information banner. Moreover, the
user can switch the radio screen saver on or off and set up the media player.

6.5.1 OSD

In this submenu the user can set up the font of e.g. EPG or detailed programme information. He can
select the display time for the information banner after the change of programme. Moreover, he can
switch the radio screen saver on or off .

6.5.2 DVR

In this submenu the user can choose whether MP2 fi les are to be added to the fi les during DVR recor-
ding of radio programmes. When transferred to the computer, these fi les can then be easily conver-
ted to other audio formats by means of appropriate applications.
