DVB Mode (MPTS)
Choosing this configuration, the card plays out the full received DVB-data stream via the TS/IP
interface (TSoIP). The complete stream has a Multi-/Unicast IP-Address integrated and is
played out in approx live mode into the network (sample: udp://225.1.1.1:3000).
A MPTS hosts a variety of SPTS, all PSI- and SI-tables.

IPTV Mode (SPTS)
Choosing the IPTV Mode configuration, the cards plays out 32 services simultaneously from
the received MPEG – data stream.
Every channel gets an own Multicast-Address and will be played out into the network in
approx. live mode (sample: udp://238.1.1.1:1234).
A SPTS embeddes all information necessary to receover a encoded TV channel. It does only
have Video – and Audiodata (PES). The TechniNet IP cards allow to transmitt SI tables in
addition to PES data.
The data rate for the transmission of a HDTV -program in H.264 (MPEG4 AVC) can be up to 20
MBit/s.
