Snapshot Tutorial
Make-up smoothes the skin texture of the subject and softens facial shadows caused
by harsh sunlight for better looking portraits.
1.
In the REC mode, press [SET].
2.
Use [8] and [2] to select the fourth control panel option from the
bottom (Make-up).
3.
Use [4] and [6] to select “Make-up: On” and then press [SET].
4.
Point the camera at the subject and shoot.
NOTE
• Turning on Make-up automatically turns on Face Detection (page 56).
• Make-up cannot be used with the following functions.
Movie recording, some BEST SHOT scenes, CS, Triple Self-timer
You can use this setting to optimize the balance between bright areas and dark areas
when shooting images.

bottom (Lighting).
