cient to cause serious injury.
OFF-SEASON STORAGE"
If the log splitter will not be used for a period longer
than 30 days, the following steps should be taken to
prepare the log splitter for storage.
1. Clean the engine and the entire log splf ter thor
oughly.
2. Refer to the engine manual for correc engine
storage instructions. Follow instructions care
fully.
3. Wipe unit with an oiled rag to prevent ru >t, espe
cially wedge and beam.

4. The tongue can be removed and reattached in an
upright position as shown in figure 17 to ake less
space when storing.
5. Store unit in a clean, dry area. Do not store next
to corrosive materials, such as fertilizer.

1. Move choke lever to OFF position.
2. Connect and tighten spark plug
wire.
3. Clean fuel line; fill tank with clean

Engine overheats
1. Engine oil levol low.
2. Airflow restricted.
