TILLING HINTS
Soil conditions vary greatly. For this reason, the
depth and number of passes needed to obtain the
desired soil requirements will also differ from region
to region.
The dimensions given under adjustments and in figure
13, may also vary depending upon soil conditions.

LUBRICATION
The gear box is prelubricated at the factory with 3
quarts of SAE 140 oil. Check the oil level when the
tiller is not attached to the tractor. Remove the
breather plug, located on top front of gear box.
/*~vVVhen the breather plug has been removed, oil should
>e up to the top of breather plug hole.
The universal joints on the drive shafts have grease
fittings and should periodically be greased. See figure
16.
