Minimum / Maximum Speed Adjustment.
TIPS
: Read the below instructions 1 to 5 before entering the minimum speed control
mode. If the user takes to long to enter information into the wall switch the control will
time out and the user will have to start back at instruction number 1.

1. Ensure the fan and cool buttons are in the off mode and the speed control dial is set

to the maximum position (fully clockwise).

2. Rotate the speed control dial to the minimum position (fully anti clockwise), wait three

seconds then press the cool button once.

3. Rotate the speed control dial back to the maximum position (fully clockwise), wait

three seconds and press the cool button once.

4. Rotate the speed control dial back to the minimum position (fully anti clockwise) and

press the fan button once.

5. The fanlight will flash in a dull and bright sequence to indicate that the minimum

speed selection has been made and the fan motor will start in the low speed mode.

6. By adjusting the dial, the minimum speed can be selected. Rotate the dial to the

desired minimum speed, then press the cool button to set the maximum speed (go to
step 7) or press the fan button to complete minimum speed adjustment.
*NOTE: Do not set the minimum speed to low, as this will cause the motor to burn
out. Optimum minimum speed RPM should be between 500 and 650 RPM.

7. After the cool button has been pressed the fan light and cool light will both be

flashing a dull and bright sequence to indicate maximum speed adjustment has been
made and the fan motor will increase in speed. By adjusting the speed control dial a
maximum speed selection can be made.
Once the maximum speed has been selected press the fan button once then press
the cool button once.
TIPS: once the minimum and maximum speeds have been selected always press
the fan button first then the cool button. If the cool button is pressed first then the fan
button, the control will enter a new minimum speed setting that may be incorrect for
the units operation.

8. The wall switch at this point should be in the off mode, press the fan button once to

start the fan and confirm minimum and maximum speed settings.
