Dr. Brown’s
™
Formula Mixing Pitcher
The Dr. Brown’s ™ Formula Mixing Pitcher was designed to mix formula
quickly without any clumping, and without incorporating a lot of air into the
formula. Air is often added to formula during mixing, usually by shaking. Use
of the Formula Mixing Pitcher helps minimize the air for the best results with
your Dr. Brown’s
™ baby bottles.
• Unique Mixing Blade design helps formula dissolve quickly
without
clumping.
• Mixing Blade remains below the surface to minimize air in the formula.
• Allows preparation of up to four 8 oz bottles of formula at a time.
• Dishwasher safe and easy to assemble.
Cleaning
1. Always wash all parts prior to use.
2. Disassemble the Formula Mixing Pitcher for cleaning.
3. Wash all parts thoroughly in hot water and detergent.
Rinse parts thoroughly.
4. All parts are dishwasher safe. If you use a dishwasher, keep all parts in
the top rack only.
Assembly
After cleaning, assemble the Formula Mixing Pitcher for use – there are
only 6 pieces.
1. Attach the Mixing Blade to the bottom of the Spiral Post. This snaps on.

2. Attach the Locking Ring by placing it on the top end of the Spiral Post
and twist it down into position. Insert the top end of the Spiral Post
through the inside of the
Locking Lid. (Fig. 2)
3. Secure the Mixing Handle
to the Spiral Post by
inserting the top of the
Post into the slot
on the Handle. (Fig. 3)
4. Rotate the Handle into
normal position. (Fig. 4)
5. When you are ready to
prepare
formula, simply
affix the entire Mixing Blade
setup to the Pitcher per the
Mixing instructions below.

Mixing Instructions (Prepare up to Four
8-oz bottles of formula)
• Always follow the formula manufacturer’s
instructions for mixing water and formula.
• Slide the Locking Ring on the Spiral Post until it locks
at the desired detent point on the Spiral Post. Be
sure to select a detent point that keeps the Mixing
Blade below the surface of the liquid at all times.
Selecting the correct detent point is important to
assure the Mixing Blade remains in contact with the
liquid to prevent introducing excess air.
• Affix Locking Lid to the Pitcher, insuring the
2 Lid channels are secure to the top rim on
the Pitcher. The Locking Lid has Open and
Closed/Mix positions. The Locking Lid
should be in the Closed/Mix position for
formula
preparation.
• Begin mixing by pumping up and down on
the Mixing Handle with smooth strokes, (slowly and
with gentle up/down force) about 1 second per up and
down stroke. Mixing should take less than 1 minute. Please let
mixture stand 1 minute to allow surface bubbles to dissipate.
• Pour the formula into Dr. Brown’s
™ baby bottles for feeding or storage.

La jarra Dr. Brown’s ™ para mezclar fórmula fue diseñada para mezclar la

Limpieza
1. Siempre lave todas las partes antes de usar.

3. Lave todas las piezas completamente con agua caliente y detergente.

4. Todas las piezas pueden lavarse en el lavavajillas. Si usa el lavavajillas,
coloque todas las piezas en la rejilla superior solamente.
Armado
Después de limpiar, arme la jarra para mezclar fórmula para usarla – hay
solo 6 piezas.
1. Coloque la paleta para mezclar en el extremo inferior de la varilla en
espiral. Se coloca a presión. (Fig.1)
2. Coloque el anillo con traba ajustable en el extremo superior de la varilla
en espiral y gírelo hacia
abajo hasta la posición
adecuada.

3. Ajuste la agarradera para
mezclar a la varilla en
espiral
insertando el
extremo superior de la
varilla en la ranura de la
agarradera.

4. Gire la agarradera hasta
su posición normal. (Fig. 4)
5. Cuando desee preparar la fórmula, simplemente coloque en la jarra
todo el conjunto de piezas de la paleta para mezclar, según las
instrucciones para mezclar que se indican a continuación. (Fig. 5)
Instrucciones para mezclar (para preparar
hasta cuatro biberones de 240 ml de fórmula)
• Siempre siga las instrucciones del fabricante de la
fórmula en relación con la cantidad de agua y fórmula
a
mezclar.
• Deslice el anillo con traba en la varilla en espiral hasta
que se tranque en el punto de retención deseado en la
varilla en espiral. Asegúrese de elegir un punto de
retención que en todo momento mantenga la paleta
para mezclar debajo de la superficie del líquido. Es
importante seleccionar el punto de retención correcto
para garantizar que la paleta para mezclar siempre
permanezca en contacto con el líquido y así evitar el
ingreso de una cantidad excesiva de aire.
• Ajuste la tapa con traba a la jarra, asegurándose de
que los 2 canales de la tapa estén firmes contra el
borde de la jarra. La tapa con traba tiene una posición
para abrir y otra para cerrar/mezclar. La tapa con
traba debe estar en la posición de cerrar/mezclar
para poder preparar la fórmula.
