housing as well as a new o-ring. Lubricate the o-ring. Slide
WKHVHDOKRXVLQJRQWRWKHPRWRUFDVLQJPDNLQJVXUHQRWWR
damage the mechanical seal face or the o-ring.
Turn the motor housing up side down and position it on the
WHPSODWH¿[WXUH3RVLWLRQWKHFRPSHQVDWLQJZDVKHUDWWKH
bottom of the bearing housing.
Bring the seal faces together and remove the tool.
Lubricate the rubber of the rotating part of a new mechanical
seal. Fit the seal onto the special tool and slide it down on
the shaft.
After having replaced the ball bearings position the rotor by
PDNLQJVXUHWKHEHDULQJ¿WVSURSHUO\LQWRLWVKRXVLQJ
Position the shoulder washer on the mechanical seal.
