Removing the Hard Disk from the Secondary HDD Bay (Models E & F)
Note that the secondary hard disk (Models E & F if installed) is located under the
optical device bay (CD/DVD).
1. Turn the computer off, remove the AC/DC adapter (and battery) and turn the computer over.
2. Remove the optical device (see “Upgrading the Optical Device (Models E & F)”
on page 6 - 9 )
3. When the optical device is removed the secondary HDD assembly will be visible.
4. Remove screws - from the secondary HDD assembly.

