In SPAN mode, the instrument buttons have the functions
shown in Figure B-7.

8a) In SPAN mode, a single press of Button One
will produce small incremental changes to increase
display reading, or a single press of Button Two
will produce small decremental changes to
decrease display reading, until the displayed gas
value corresponds to the concentration of the
calibration gas.
8b) When required reading has been reached, press and
hold Button Two to exit SPAN mode with
calibration. The display may jump above and below
required reading momentarily as the instrument
performs the calibration.
Note: If for any reason you require to exit SPAN mode
without calibration of the instrument. press and
hold Button One .
