Operation
The Oxygen Monitor provides a digital readout from 0.1-100% oxygen with an accuracy of +/-
1%. The Oxygen Monitor is rated for general purpose service as low as 1,000 ppm or 0.1%.
The Oxygen Monitor is powered from 100VAC, 115VAC, or 208/240VAC and it automatically
adjusts to input voltage. A simple 230VAC, US style plug is provided for your convenience to
plug into a 230VAC glove box. Do not subject the monitor to vacuums above 12.5 psia
(86 kPa) as damage will occur.
Installation Procedure
1. Locate the sensor cable and plug it into the Oxygen Monitor.
2. Place the Oxygen Monitor in a visible location inside the glove box.
3. If desired, use the optional bracket to hang the Oxygen Monitor to the accessory Rear
Interior Shelf Kit (#5235000) or accessory Side Interior Shelf Kit (#5235001). Locate the
#6-32 x 3/8 screws to attach the Oxygen Monitor to the optional bracket as depicted in the
illustration on the next page. Then hang the Oxygen Monitor to the desired shelf.
4. For 100V or 115V operation, plug the Oxygen Monitor into the receptacle on the glove
box ceiling and begin monitoring oxygen levels.
5. For 230V operation, use the 230V US style plug and rewire per the instructions supplied
with the 230V US style plug to power the Oxygen Monitor. After re-wiring, plug Oxygen
Monitor into the 230V US style receptacle on the glove box ceiling and begin monitoring
oxygen levels.
6. Installation is complete.
