Operation

The Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus is a sonic replica of the most sought after chorus of all time, the 1976

Boss CE-1. The original CE-1 had an “intensity” control which was actually speed. With controls for

both speed and intensity, the Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus is capable of a much wider range of sounds.

Here are some suggestions:

1. Normal Chorus: use medium settings of intensity (11 to 2 o’clock) and desired speed. In general,

as you increase the speed you will want to decrease the intensity.

2. Tone Thickening: turn the intensity most of the way down. This will add a lush analog doubling.

3. Leslie: turn both the intensity and speed most of the way up. This gives the tone of a rotating

speaker or Leslie.

Plugging into the input jack turns on the power to your Analog Chorus.

To preserve battery life, disconnect the input cable when not in use.

Battery

The Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus is powered by a single 9V battery. To replace the battery, remove the

four screws which secure the bottom cover. Replace only with an Alkaline-type battery.

External Power

The Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus can be powered externally with a regulated 9VDC power supply,

eliminating the need for the internal battery. The external power supply connector is a 5.5x2.1mm

barrel with center negative.
