Cooling System Tips — Trailer Towing
To reduce potential for engine and transmission over-
heating, take the following actions in high ambient
temperatures:
• City Driving— when stopped, put the transmission in
N (Neutral) and increase the engine idle speed.
• Highway Driving— reduce your speed.
• Air Conditioning— turn it off temporarily.
• Hilly Terrain— Turn overdrive off.
