PDM1, 2 & Custom - Projector Drop Mechanism
Cutting the void in the ceiling
- Hole size - PD1 - 580 x 580mm sq
PD2 - 630 x 630mm sq
- Clear space free from joists and other objects
- Secure timber joists in place to support the unit
- Organise cables ready to thread through the unit
- Make sure that fixing holes are parallel to the supporting joists
- Wire up the control box
- Connect the control box to the mains power supply
- Optional - Connect the infrared remote sensor so its visible
- Cables can be easily extended which is recommended for
servicing as there is no manual drop. The control box should
be placed in an easily accessible location.
e.g - Next to AV equipment or next to a ceiling speaker
