Update Notification
Displays a notification
message on the
ASD-51W’s

GUI

screen when the
latest

firmware

is

released

with

“Firmware Update”.
The

notification

message is displayed
for about 20 seconds
when the power is
turned on. Connect
to broadband Internet
(vpage 7) when
using this function.

ON : Display update message.
OFF : Do not display update message.

When you press

ENTER

during display of the notification

message, the “Check for Update” screen is displayed.
(Refer to page 17 for more information on “Firmware
Update”.)
Press

RETURN

(on the GUI screen) to erase the

notification message.

Audio Output
Switch the audio
output on the ASD-
51W.

Analog : Output audio from the analog audio output
connectors.
Digital : Output audio from the digital audio output
connector.

When “Audio Output” is set to “Digital”, the remote
control’s

VOLUME

and

MUTE

buttons do not operate.
