Replacing the Battery

Exchange Procedure
To exchange the battery, proceed as follows:
1. Gently lift the battery retaining tab.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Install the new battery in such a way that the plus sign marked on it is face up.
PCB and Battery Holder Damage
 Removing the battery with a screw driver may damage the PCB or the battery holder. To
prevent this damage, do not use a screw driver to remove the battery from its holder.
Product Damage
 Do not deform the battery holder retaining tab during the battery exchange procedure
so that the battery holder retaining tab continues to perform its function and so that
the battery holder maintains a low profile.
