Using Remote Shell
You can upload a configuration file by using remote shell. From the DOS
or Unix command line, enter:
rsh 192.30.20.192 sh prn cfg > NewConfig.txt
This uploads the configuration from the 192.30.20.192 printer to the file
named NewConfig.txt.
You can also view the configuration on your screen. From the DOS or
Unix command line, enter:
rsh 192.30.20.192 sh prn cfg | more
This uploads the configuration from the 192.30.20.192 printer one screen
at a time.
Note: The configuration upload is many lines of data and scrolls off the
screen if “| more” is not used.
