and keep the equipment out of use until repair is completed.
Inspect cables and belts
Inspect all cables and belts for wear or damage and proper tension. When inspecting cables and
belts, run fingers on the cable or belt, paying particular attention to bends in cables and attachment
points. The following conditions may indicate a worn cable:
Cables
Condition of Cable Diagram
A tear or crack in the cable sheath
that exposes the cable
A kink in the cable
A curled sheath
Necking - A stretched cable sheath
