What type of test and what filter efficiency is one on the HEPA media for the
107.1015 Filter?
Answer: The HEPA media is put under the DOP test and the efficiency is 99.97% down
to .3 micron.

Question:
How big is a micron (1.0 µm)?
Answer: A micron, short for micrometer, is a unit of measurement equal to one millionth
of a meter. A micron is actually 0.000039 of an inch.
To give you an idea what we are talking about here, the period at the end of this sentence
is about 397 microns. The eye of a needle is usually elongated, but is 749 microns wide.
A human hair is 40 to 120 microns in diameter. A postage stamp is more than 25,000
microns long.

Question: What is the purpose of the Enviroflex 107.1016 or 107.1016A filter?
Answer: The 107.1016 or 107.1016A acts as a Prefilter. It filters out the larger particles
so that the HEPA filter does not plug up rapidly. It extends the life of the HEPA filter.

Question:
What is the difference between the 107.1016 and the 107.1016A filters?
107.1016-This is a throwaway prefilter
107.1016A-This is a washable prefilter that you utilize with precoat.

Question: How often do you have to replace the 107.1015 HEPA filter?
Answer: Normally for every 3 or 4 Prefilters you either replace or clean.
