Submarine Electrophoresis Unit
Function and description
The Hoefer ® HE99X unit electrophoretically
separates nucleic acid fragments in a submarine
gel. The gel is first cast in a gel caster, which is
available in three lengths. Once the gel sets, the
running tray is transferred to the platform of
the electrophoresis unit and the gel is submerged
under running buffer.
