Ordering the HT4400 System

Ordering a system can be a complex procedure. Hypertherm recommends the following components to
operate the HT4400 system:

Power supply

Ignition console and connecting cables and hoses

Gas console and connecting cables and hoses

Valve cluster and connecting cables and hoses

Torch assembly with leads

Water cooler and connecting cables and hoses

Machine interface I/O cable to start and control the system from the CNC

In addition, current control needs to be set by some means. Hypertherm offers these 2 options to
control current:

Remote current control console and its connecting cable

or

Machine V/C interface cable for customers supplying their own current control

To operate a torch height control, Hypertherm offers:

Command THC system and its connecting cables - If ordering a THC system, also see
Command THC X-Y Table Product Configuration Manual #802600 for more details.

Note: If ordering the Command THC, do not order the Machine Interface I/O cable (item 19).

If two torches are to be employed simultaneously, you will need to order 2 complete HT4400 systems
and:

Hold cable

Component Mounting Limitations

Ignition Console

The ignition console must be located within 15 ft (4.6 m) of the torch.
The ignition console must be mounted horizontally or vertically as shown in Section 1.

Gas Console

The gas console must be located within 50 ft (15.3 m) of the valve cluster.

Valve Cluster

The valve cluster must be located within 4 ft (1.2 m) of the torch.
The valve cluster must be located within 50 ft (15.3 m) of the gas console.

Use the diagrams on the following pages along with the order forms to order the correct configuration for your
site. The components in the diagrams are not drawn to scale. The layouts are shown to assist in ordering and
to show where the interconnecting cables and hoses terminate - location of the system components will vary
from site to site.
