The freezer section will begin to build up frost on the walls. Once the frost is
over

" thick, it will be necessary to scrape the frost off the interior walls. To

do this, a plastic scraper is provided. Never use a sharp or metallic instrument
to remove frost as this may damage the cooling coils in the freezer section.
Puncturing the cooling coils will cause the unit to become inoperable and void
the warranty.

To defrost the freezer section, turn the thermostat to the

0 position and scrape

the frost off the freezer’s interior walls. Place food back in the freezer and turn
the thermostat back on.

Troubleshooting

Refrigerator does not operate

– Not plugged in.
– Thermostat is in

0 position.

– Circuit breaker tripped or fuse blown.

Turns on and off frequently

– This is normal. Small refrigerators cycle more than larger ones.

Seems to run too long

– Check for proper clearances.
– Frequent door openings let cold air escape.

Refrigerator too warm

– Check if doors are fully closed.
– Check setting of thermostat.
– Have you put large amounts of warm food into the refrigerator recently?
– Are the shelves overcrowded?

Frost build-up on back wall of refrigerator section.

– Refrigerator section is too cold.
– Thermostat bulb may be touching the back wall of the unit.

Noise or vibration

– Check to be sure that refrigerator is level. Adjust the feet to make it level.
