INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Be sure that the sweeper is parked in a spot where you will have room to work and there is clearance
overhead as the hopper will have to be raised.
2. Set park brake and block wheel. Raise hopper and put two hopper safety lifts into place on the cylinders.
Remove the key. Disconnect the (-) negative battery cable and cover battery with a rag.
3. Open the engine cover. On the two support tubes that are part of the main frame, draw lines at 2 3 /

" inches from the end of each tube and 3 /

" from the edge. Center punch and drill with a 13 /

" drill bit,
through both walls of the tube, 4 places.
4. Mount the seat belt brackets and belt (Ref 1, 4 and 13) as shown, and tighten.
5. On the cross bar between hopper towers mark off 2 3 /
4
" from the end and 1" from the edge, both ends,
center punch and drill with a 13 /
32
" drill bit through both walls.
6. For both the right and left hopper tower measure up vertically from the bottom of the tower 12 1 /

and 24 1 /

" and 1" in parallel to the front edge mark and center punch these locations. With a 33 /

" drill bit
drill all 6 holes through both walls.
7. Mount right and left supports (Ref 5 and 12) as shown. Tighten all 6 bolts.
8. Place roll bar (Ref 6) on top of the supports and bolt up as shown, tighten all bolts.
9. Bolt up the two (Ref# 8) straps as shown and tighten.
10. Remove the two hopper safety lifts from the cylinders and put away.
11. Reconnect the (-) negative battery cable.
12. Lower the hopper and remove the wheel blocks.
