Note

When running the camera on a system that does not meet the minimal requirements (see

“System Require-

ments” on page 9

), the frame rate value can be less than it is set with the Frame Rate Control option, espe-

cially when running with full viewport and with high frequencies.

When changing the frame rate value manually, a warning message can appear. Usually it will appear when the
entered value is lower (

see Figure 4-22 Warning message: entered frame rate value is lower than allowed

) or

higher (

see Figure 4-23 Warning message: entered frame rate value is higher than allowed

) than it is allowed. In

this case, follow the instructions in the warning message

Output Bits per Pixel

If the 10 bit mode box is checked, it enables the software to transmit 10 bit images
from the camera as opposed to regular 8 bit.

Filtering

The Median Filter option turns on pixel averaging. The brightness of every single pixel
becomes affected by the brightness of its neighbor pixels and the whole image
becomes smoother.
