MAINTENANCE
Front Gearcase (Demand Drive) Fluid
Fluid Change
1. Position the vehicle on a level
surface.
2. Place the transmission in PARK.
3. Remove the fill plug.
4. Remove the drain plug.
Drain the fluid into a drain
pan.
5. Clean the drain plug.
6. Reinstall the drain plug. Torque
to specification. See page 82.
7. Add the recommended fluid.
8. Reinstall the fill plug. Torque to
specification.
9. Check for leaks.
10. Discard used oil properly.
